I have a 04 Ram 1500 that came without foglights. Instead it has black plastic little covers. I would like to put fog lights. Can I get fog lights that will fit? If seen people putting the fog lights behind those plastic covers, and I think it looks horrible. Can anyone give some ideas? Do I need to buy another bumper with the fog lights already installed?

check ebay, i bought my kit on there. Its a factory kit, so if you have a truck that is prewired like mine was you just plug it into that adapter, it gives you a replacement headlight switch with the fog light turn on and the factory lenses with hella bulbs. It took me about 15 minutes to install it. I only paid like 100 plus shipping...

 

My truck is not prewired for the foglights. Can I find the switch and haness in dodgeparts.com?

 

You can get the fog light bezels through the dealer, but they are $40 each. I went ahead and made my own..

 

What do you mean by black plastic covers? Granted my truck was pre-wired for fogs, I had these black plastic things w/ slots in the fog light opening and they just popped out...the fog light set off dodgeparts.com came w/ new plastic inserts that you pop in to take up the space not being used by the new fogs lights if I remember correctly...

So I don't think you need to buy a new bumper...

 

the same guy that sells the kit i mentioned about on ebay sells one thats for trucks that arent pre wired as well.... just a lil more install work..
