My last silver vehicle was an '88 cougar.

 

Well I bought a Silver 2003 QC in November 2006. I had a choice between a 2006 white long horn edition and the 2003 that I bought. I never cared for light colors, but the truck looks great. I favored the 03 because it had the hemi and the fact that the owner of the other truck smoked in it. I have not bought a new car since 1990. So far I have had good luck with used ones from dealerships.

 

personally I always disliked black and red. I love the color but I have read that black and fire red catches the cops eyes more often and they write more tickets for those 2 colors versus any others. Insurance seems to be higher as well on those due to this. White is also hard to keep clean. I have to agree with rocky tht orange is pretty unusual. I have never seen one.

1. White/White Pearl 26%
2. Silver 16%
3. Gray 13%
4. Black 13%
5. Red 11%
6. Blue 10%
7. Light Brown 6%
8. Green 4%
9. Yellow/Orange 1%
10. Others <1%

I had to go with the flow... white, since I'm in sunny SoCal and need all the help I can get to keep cool, so it's our family's official fleet color, except for race vehicles and sports cars (they're red).

 

pfft, black and red trucks aint got nothing on catchin a cops eye like yellow does...believe me on this lol
