As with any intake mod from any aftermarket supplier
you can tell whether it works or not yourself....
simply by reading your MAP sensor before and after the mod.

If you think that Air_Ram's scoop
'Rams air into your intake'
you can find this out YOURSELF
by testing at a low speed like 30 mph at full throttle and 5000 rpm
and then at the highest speed you safely and legally can go.
If ramming is taking place the MAP sensor will read higher at the higher vehicle speeds. {hint: the factory air intake does do this a little}

Is there RAMMING going on with the scoop?

Well there sure is ramming of money into Air_Ram's bank account.

Whether Ram pickup owners are getting a particular orffice rammed is up to each citizen of this free country to test for and decide....if they choose to.

This just direct more freash cold air to you'r air filter from out side you'r truck to the engine compartment.

If you take a look where the Stock air box is located it is sucking most of it's air from the warm air thats trapped in the engine compartment .

I not saying the Ram Air ducted will help but colder the air going in to the motor easyer is to gain H/P.

I put on on my underpowered 3.7 I figued any little bit cant hurt on cool days at HWY speeds it help out not a lot just helps.

This is ram air faster you go more air it is pushing in to the engine compartment it's kinda like going down the road with you window down and redirecting the air flow in to the cab with a cupped hand out side the cab you getting cooler air with out you'r hand but with you hand you get a lot more.

it just directsincoming air from the front of the vehicletowards the filter. idk how well it affects performance. it definitely does what it's meant to do cause when i go to clean my filter there is a pile of road crap right where it dumps the air.

I am not fooling
when I state that I would be willing to die
to insure you keep your
rights to spend money how you wish
and say things publicly that you think important
....even if I disagree with whatever it is you feel strongly about.

The US Constitution and its Amendments
have proven over the last 200+ years
how important this is.

It is also possible that someone would stumble upon a 'scoop' design
that violates all that scientists thought they knew...and would be an advance of the art.

But I am 99.99% certain Air_Ram's Jet Stream Scoop (note the catchy name)
is not that lucky advance. What is 'amazing' about the scoop is that it fools so many people...in that regard it is worthy of note and study...if you are a salesman studying the psychology of customers.

Why not spend the money porting the cylinder heads?
That'll work!
