Default RE: locker question

I have never heard of this being a "dealer" installed option. They are either talking about the Power Wagon set up or maybe an aftermarket offering.

You can buy it off the internet then have another shop install it. $1000 for the locker itself, add for install and wiring.

Electronic lockers seem like a lot of money for something that you can use a simplar solution for... just a good lsd will work fine

A locker is night and day from an LSD. And a selectable locker? Nothing better.

Default RE: locker question

Last fall I installed a Detroit TrueTrac and love it. It grips very well, and it has very good streetability. As far as I know there are not any E-lockers for the 9.25 Corporate rear axles. If there had been, I would have bought one. The E-locker available for the 9.25 corporate axle refers to the front axles in the HD Rams like the powerwagon.
