Default BFG Tires for 06 1500 with 20" rim

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with 20". I am looking to put tires on within the next year definately want to go with the BFG T/A KO. How big can I go without putting a lift on the truck or worry about rubbing? My plan was to go with the 285 55 20. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've looked around for hours and couldn't find a good answer. Thanks

33 is about as big as I have heard that you can go stock. Here's a tire size calculator: http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html

You could go 35" if u trimmed the plastic under the front bumper. But it will be tight!!!!!!

Look at the clearance between the inner tire and the upper shock tower. I have less than 1/2 an inchon my 07 with 275/60/20 and thatworries meaboutthe TKO 285
