The rims under the chrome-clad caps are unfinished. Basically, look at the back of your wheel, and that's what they look like underneath the chrome caps. I don't have them, but I've read that on here before from people asking the same question.

 

he painted them himself...posted up about it in another thread (gotta search for it)...but i think they look great....if i was having that problem then i would just sand em down and paint em like helo did.....or you could do some searchin on ebay and find some new wheels....i got a set of the SRT10 Night Runner 22" wheels for really cheap

could also con someone into sellin their old stockers if they got new wheels lol
