Default Need some more help guys!

Have been already having the following codes for some time:

P2175 Throttle Actuator Ctrl Sys-Low Airflow Detected
P2106 Throttle Actuator Ctrl Sys-Forced Limited Power

At no specific time the check engine light and the flashing ETC light come on. Truck runs rough. I turn it off, and back on and the ETC light goes out. Sometimes the check engine light goes out. Sometimes it stays on. When it stays on, it usually goes out in a couple of days or so. This occurs usually when I go on an extended trip of 75 miles or so. Lately, it has been happening on short trips too now. I've read in previous posts that my TB is probably dirty and needs cleaning. I haven't had a chance to tear into it yet, which brings me to my current dilema...

Today, less than a block from home and probably a couple of minutes after starting, the check engine light came only and it was running rough again. I just drove on, and the rough idle seemed to go away. But first chance I had to check codes revealed a new one. A P2108 is now in the memory along with the others. This truck is starting to become a major problem. I never had one problem with my 2nd gen '98. I went through 8 service appt's for a previous "evap leak" problem with my dealer last year. They had the truck for a total of 45 days before they finally solved that mystery. Replaced everything from the front of the truck back to the gas tank related to the evap system. Now that is fixed, I'm having these ETC codes and now this new code.

Can anyone shed some light?

Thanks,

~Dave

i have this problem all the time during the winter if you have superchips you can just erase the code and it will go away this happens to me when my truck has a cold start without plugging it in. another way to get rid of it is take it to a shop and get them to erase it part source will do it for free dodge will charge 70 bucks they are a rip off.

Well, no super chips. I do have Flowmaster catback duals and a K&N air filter, but other than that, it's just a stock 2500 Hemi Quadcab...

Quick quesion...

I know you said Well, no super chips. I do have Flowmaster catback duals and a K&N air filter, but other than that, it's just a stock 2500 Hemi Quadcab... , but did you buy the truck new or used. I have looked a lot over the net and find that mostly as Denniss66said it comes with superchips. If used or new you may want to buy one anyway to fix this. $400 for superchips is better than $600 at stealership which I read is the norm to fix this problem. Hope that it is still under warranty otherwise.

I bought brand new. So, I know there are now superchips. I hadn't thought about putting one in though. Do you think would solve the problem? I've been under the assumption that it's a dirty TB, (for the first two codes anyway), and if that's it, super chip or no super chip, a dirty TB is a dirty TB.
