RE: 07 RAM QC YES ESSENTIALS PREMIUM SEATS!
No I am looking for seats for a 07 quad cab, but I would like to have the seats from a sport with the bolstered back frames. The frame designation is called a AJ style seat.
In reply to SWOS Chief, there is different styles of frames used by DCX in the seats. The heavy duty is called THDS. The style of seat has a back frame that mounts to the cushion frames with only 2 bolts. The other is called a SCS 3. This style mounts to the cushion frame with 4 bolts. After that the differance is the style of material covering the seat.
What is shown is a M9 cloth seat. It has a larger horizontal stripe in the back material in the center.
A P9 had multiple horizontal strips in the back material and seat cushion.
An AJ is a bolstered cloth back that comes in the sport trucks.
A Vll is a leather without the bolstered back.
A GJ is a leather with a bolstered back.
A TX is a cheaper leather with multiple stripes horizontal on the back and cushion.
After that its all about color. Gray or khaki.

An 06 and 07 seat had minor differances in the wire harness for the power seats. The main differance between the seats would be if it was a leather. They had heat and the cloth did not. These wire harnesses are differant. Other than that if you get the same type of seat SCS or THDS they will mount.
You can tell the differance between the seats by looking at the
power control **** on the lower left cushion on the drivers seat.
An SCS will have a single oval **** to control the seat. A THDS will have three small switches. Other than that always get a quad seat for a quad cab. A Standard had a differant back frame and center console.
The rear seat came with either a bench seat or a split seat called a 60/40. The 60/40 also had the option of load floors. These were plastic insets that unfolded over the foot well to provide extra cargo spacing and covered the understorage compartment under the rear seat.
Hope this helps.
