I know before I say anything that I am to always have my seatbelt on. In my 06 ram you have always got to put it on, because of the dinging ( it is non-stop ). Is there anybody out there that knows how to stop the dinging, with out putting my belt on!

 

You have to turn the ignition and put the seatbelt on 3 or so times real fast. I have been unable to do it yet since I have a broke arm. this is also in the manual[sm=icon_rtfm.gif]. lastly check there is a previous post on this and search at the bottom and there is a lot of info on this. hope it helps.

 

Yeah it says in the manual and there are several threads with the directions posted in it. I know in my 04 i had to put my seat belt on, start truckand then buckle and unbuckle seat belt four times in 10 seconds.

 

I bought my 06 used with 7000 miles on it and the owner before somehow disabled the seat belt alarm, the only way that I am aware of disabling the alarm is with one of the dealer programmers.

 

use the jump seat (center seat) buckle and put in in the clip and it wont ding anymore ...thats what i use to do on mine lol

 

It is in your factorymanual I disabled mines light stays on but the annoying ding ding is gone.

 

My rear center seat belt in my Q-Cab lot of the time gets stuck you have to retrack it all the way in be for it release it self for pull out mode is this normal this is where myKids booster car seat is normaly it kinda a pain to get her in you have to undo every thing to get so the seat belt will extend and it gets tighter as you drive and not release pressure untill you retrack it all the way back again.
