That's not right, I said I'd take a few pics, I was trying to avoid the dreaded "This thread is worthless..." post. I just thought it would come from "you know who".

Your damn right its coming!!!!!! Guns... and trucks.... together....wow man thats me!!!!!!
Here's your damn Pix BIoTCH! Had the day off today, after mowing the yard I toted a couple of guns out and put them in just so's I could take a pic and make you happy.
Hard to get far enough away to get a good pic in the back seat, but you'll have to take what you get...

Oh, and I was wrong about what I paid for it, cost was under $18 plus shipping, cheap but effective.
The other nice thing is that they are not up in the rear window to be seen by all, with the tinted glass you gotta get right on up & look in the truck to see any firearms.

Sold both my bows when I got divorced in '04 so that's not an issue. Was trying to pair down what I was going to have to move. Sold a lot of stuff cheap I wish I still had. But I hadn't bow hunted in about 6 years, so I figured they could go.
Wouldn't part with my Black Powder guns though, even though I don't touch them anymore I got boxes of trophies I won in competition Black Powder shoots and Primitive Rendezvous.
Used to I could "shoot the wings off a dragonfly at 100 yards" when I was in my teens and early 20's, but now my eyes are going and life's pressures have taken the steadiness out of my hands.[sm=scared09.gif]

Nope I laid off it this time... thats a sweet holder you got, where did you get it? What kinda rifle is that? Is that an 870 or just a look a like?

Hanson,
Sportsman's Guide all of $17.97 in black, $19.97 in camo. I think they are located in Michigan orWisconsin or Minnesota one of them damn states where everybodytalks like the people in that movie "FARGO"... Here's a link:
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=88673

The Shotgun is a Mossberg 500 Pump, I carry it often, it's cheap, so I don't care so much about scratching it up as much. It also has an adjustable choke, so I can switch pattern fast without having to look for the damn chokes. I have a Remington 870 and 1100 but only carry them specifically when I plan to use them hunting. The rifle is a Ruger 77 in 30-06. I just threw them in for the pic, basically grabbed them first. If I'm going up to the farm in Ga. (which I've not done since before my mom was diagnosed) and it's not deer season, I'll carry the Mossberg 12ga., a Ruger mini-30, and a 10/22 in the rack. I also usually bring my Springfield 1911A, Beretta 92F, and Ruger Redhawk up to the farm. The 10/22 ALWAYS gets used for turtles at the pond (it's over-run with them) and the Redhawk always stays loaded with Rat/Snake shot, as there are ALWAYS moccasins around the pond!!!
I usually feel pretty secure when I'm traveling the 320 miles to and from the farm.
