I'm filling up my wish list and am looking at cams. Hammer, already, gave me some great feedback. He, also, suggested I should poll it. I wanted to go with the Comp 273, but you need to flash the ECU. I'm not a racer and I don't have anything to pull (don't even have a tow package). I'm just looking to get more HP. BTW, I ordered the DiabloSport programmer. It's overdue.

Are you willing to buy a piggyback system and do some custom tuning? Hopefully the Predator will take care of that, but as of right now nobody knows how well it will work and when it will come out. There is also the B&G custom PCM flash option, but that has been hit or miss on some trucks and they don't offer a refund or warranty if it doesn't work for you. So basically your options are the 260, 210 or 6.1 cam.

Stock for now, my next and LAST mod will be a KRC 210, which is a Crane 210 with a more aggressive torque grind.I am actually waiting to see what SCT does as far as having their tuner ready for the Hemi before I pull the trigger on this one. They are doing great stuff so far with the 5.2, 5.9 and 4.7. I'm told they are close to having a '03 Hemi tune, and the '04-'05 should be about 2 months off. Their tune will make having to get a piggyback a thing of the past. The approach they have is awsome.

The way I understand it, their Tuner will hold 3 Tunes, plus store the stock tune, same as Superchips. Where they will differ is instead of having "generic" Performance, Towing & Ecomony tunes, they will have a database of tunes to accomodate all different mod combo's. You tell 'em what's in your truck and what you want to do and they load your tuner with the proper tunes. For example you could have a RACE PERFORMANCE, STREET PERFORMANCE and TOWING onyour tuner, while your buddy could have tunes for 87 OCTANE FUEL , STREET PERFORMANCE andMAX MPGECONOMY on his. But his STREET PERFORMANCE tune would be different than your STREET PERFORMANCE tune, because you have cam, headers, cai & exhaust and he only has cat-back exhaust! No "one size fits all" crap, each tunes gets the most out of your mod combo. Not to mention you can go to one of their dealers and get on the dyno and get a custom tune, for what I believe will only be a dyno fee once you own the tuner.

I don't think we are going to get much from Diablo. The buzz is when (or should I say if) it comes out for Hemi trucks there will only be minute adjustments available. I'm told for example air/fuel ratio will only be adjustable to +/- 3% from stock. These small windows of adjustability are so that Primitive Pete can't go crazy with his tune, blow up his engine and then sue Diablo. This is the main reason that I believe Superchips has done an about face and not given us one tenth of what was promised.
