Cat-back exhaust next...
I just put a CAI on my truck (no names mentioned here so as to not start any wars...lol).
Looking at cat-backs now. Had a Gibson swept sideexhaust on my last truck (single large exhaust pipe with side exit), and liked it a lot, will probably go with the same setup. But figured I would check around tho, I have never heard magnaflow or any other to compare... any strong arguments for one over the other?

Strong argument?

Most guys here haven't dyno'd a vehicle with and/or without aftermarket exhaust tomake any serious claims of any valid improvement. I've seen a handful that have, but most not. With that being said: I put little to no value in manufacture's claims, as advertizing is designed to get you to buy their product.
If based on fit, finish and sound: I love my Borla exhaust. It's stainless with a polished muffler, heavy welded hangers, clamps are big-rig style band clamps andnot pinch type clamps that distort the tubing and create leaks and prevent dismantling at a later time.
Single muffler, with stock exit location, past right rear wheel. Can't honestly tell you if it adds HPs, or not. It looks good and sounds better then stock.
The sound is pleasant tomellow at idle and medium throttle, with a nice, conservative bark/rumble at heavy to full throttle.
It cost in the $525 range. I bought it from www.AnythingAuto.com.

I have got a magnaflow with duel exit out the rear. It sounds great with a low deep tone, and hardly no sound in the cab. I got the system from a shop here in town for $280 installed. As far as hp I don't know, but my gas milage did go upfrom 1 to 1.5 per gallon.
i love my magnaflow as well i believe their site has sound clips my truck has vids on cardomain... theres a thread on her called "sound clips finally" i posted with the links....
+1 for Borla, cant beat the quality or performance but it deffinately comes with a price!! I paid $675(+/-) for my setup. Magnaflow is another one that is really good for performance and quite a bit cheaper. And if you're just going for sound both flowmaster and cherrybomb's will work good for that.
There are many different options to go with so just go with one that fits your needs and what you like the best.
