Default door panel rattling

Is there anyway to stop the door panel from rattling from the bumps in the road in the road and the bass. Like could I silicone inside the panel?

If you're talking about the same type of rattle I experienced on my 1500 and 2500 it sounds to me like it's the door lock rod - they rattled on my 2003 1500 and my 2006 2500. I suppose you could take the panel off and silicone a small piece of foam to put slight pressure on it.

I took my passanger side panel off a couple of weeks ago. Behind the panel you will find hooks molded into the panel, I wrapped them in electrical tape. I then put a 3 to 4" pc of shrink sleeve on my door lock post (the one that stick up by the window). This stopped all the passenger side rattles, yep you guessed it, driver side rattles now... This was a short job, much easier than you may think.

When you take the door panel off, look over the waterproof film/ tap on it. When you find out what place is rattling, pull it off from the closest end, then stretch it and stick it back. The goo they put on at the factory should contain adequate adhesive qualities to “re-stickâ€..

This fixed mine – no more rattles.

Mine makes noise, but it seems to me that it is just the plastic flexing. I might try to do something about it soon, as I am supposed to have my passenger side inner panel replaced and some paint done outside - some crack head broke out my window a few weeks ago.
