Default check engine light.....

First off......love the forum. I appreciate all the useful info you guys provide. Now to my issue. I have an 07 1500 with the Hemi. Yesterday my check engine light came on. I took it into the dealer today and they said they got a P0524 code (Engine oil pressure to low). I have noticed no problems with the truck. Oil pressure gauge looks normal. The dealer had no idea why it came on. Any insight on this guys?

Thanks in advance.

So what did they do? Just clear the code? You can be sure if they only cleared the code, it will pop back on. Then you need to take it to a dealer who will find & fix the problem.

Could have justbeen a glitch. You need to ask the dealer if they actually checked out the system. They may have already checked the oil and the system so they to chalked it up to a glitch as well.

They asked me if I parked on a steep incline which sounded crazy to me because in lower Alabama there are no real inclines...............They did tell me that they checked it out and cleared the code and everything seemed fine. They drove the truck and noticed no problems. I drive my truck everyday and noticed nothing out of the ordinary. The told me that it could be a glitch andif it came on again to bring it back in to the shop. I wasn't sure so I wanted to ask you guys. Thanks.
