Default suspension for 2wd truck

Hey guys, i have a 03 dodge 1500 and i was wondering what you guys think of raising it maybe like 6 inchs or so? some people i know said that they dont raise 2wd trucks. Would it be worth spending money to get a lift? and if yes what would be a good brand to get? because i have found some cheap lifts but i dont think they will be any good...it is called CST http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/...ml?id=WkD6gep5that is the link to it. and i think there are a few things that i need to buy along with the kit.

If I recallthe web site has instructions about installing there kit.

BECARFUL with coil springs they have a lot of stored engergy in them MAKE SURE YOU RELEASE ALL PRELOAD before removing them the springs can cut off fingers toes ECT.

Anything with spring pressure beware it can send you to the hospital in a heart beat.

If you take it some were you looking about $500.00 to have someone install it.

There not so hard as long you have ALL the Tools before hand DO NOT Skimp it will come back and bit you been there done that.

I been lucky I did stupid stuff when I was younger Now I am lot older and wiser I try to spread what not to do.

Only if my wife would listen to me things would be Ok Ha Ha.

Do you have a QC or Reg. Cab? When you decide to lift your truck will you take before and after pics? I have a 02' QC 1500 and I am thinking about raising it or giving it a leveling kit and would like to see what yours looks like once you have lifted yours..... I can't decide so I have posted a poll on the forum [sm=headbang.gif]if you would like to look at it.... I think there are like 6 people who say to do a leveling kit and like 3 or 4 that say to do a lift so I would like to see the outcome on yours first..... [sm=smiley2.gif].....Thanks
