$21,999.00 for my '07 Dodge Ram 4X4 Quad Cab SLT 4.7 Liter in Inferno Red Crystal Pearl with heated power mirrors, keyless, power locks and windows, single CD, Alloy wheels. I now have 2,600 miles on it.
The dealers up here had that price and $22,990 for Big Horn Editions--unknown details.

A short box reg cab hemi is the worst truck you can buy....
First, unless thiers a 8 ft box, I feel a truck is useless, but I allways buy trucks so I can work them.
Short boxs ride and handel like crap, due to the shorter wheal base.
as for resale, in the event you have to, forget and bend over.
as for performance, a hemi reg cab short box is going to smoke any truck on the road, and you can add a utility trailer if need be.
AS for price, the buyer sets it, or walks away, I have never liked quad cabs, but hands down I would buy a quad can short box over a reg cab short box.

well its gonna be more of a towing thing than anything but im gonna make him get some performance anyway!! he has an extended cab now and doesnt need the back seat so no need for the extra money.... and between our two trucks he doesnt need a long bed
$25K out the door, stickered at almost $35K. 07 2500HD SLT RC Hemi 4x4 with most of the Ram interior, convenience and mechanical goodies and $3500 rebate. Ended up being just a couple hundred bucks above dealer cost. Invoice price is not the actual cost of the vehicle. Dealer cost is what the dealer has to pay to get it from the manufacturer and it is usually less than invoice. Dealer cost is a good place to start price negotiations. Keep in mind they have to make something off the sale of the truck but most happily deal, especially now with the 2007's. Doing a little price research online and on the lots before going in will make your bargaining power stronger. Price is always negotiable but the actual sale of the vehicle is more important to dealers because, in most cases, they get their factory to dealer incentives and ratings from volume of sales not monetary totals at the end of the month. Of course if a particular dealership is full of drooling, idiot, a**hole salesmen, go to another dealership - there will always be one that wants your business! In a nutshell, I'd buy a new Ram!
