Default so check this out

i blew up my power steering pump yesterday. no idea how, but it just spews fluid from behind, and under the pulley. so i look forward to replacing it. looks like its gonna be a bitch to get out

are you sure it was a pump and not one of the hoses around it?? or where they are connected...?

yeah, they were all connected. but i pulled it off(the pump) and it appears to be fine. but, there is some dirt debris in there. but there was no gasket. does it even get a gasket?

i dont think so.... i had to fix my boss's lexus and it was just a bad hose...

well, where its leaking from there are no hoses in that area. its leaking where it meets the block. a new pump isnt that expensive. but i will be pissed if i put a new one in and it still leaks. hahaha
