Hi Everyone: First timer here. I would like to introduce myself as a new owner to a 2005 Dodge 1500 QWuad Cab Daytona Hemi. Colour is Mango. I still havn't picked it up yet but hopefully this week. Im very excited.

I o though have my first question. I do i confirm that it is a real Daytona Limited addtion. Everything that i have seen in my web searches are there on the truck except probably the most important thing. The nameplate that is suppose to be located in the center dash consel is missing. I guess it says Daytona along with a number. Now it could be in the glove compartment or somewhere in the truck but i doubt it. So is there a way i can find out what number it is if it is a real one? Maybe i can get a replacement nameplate.

maybe you could send in your vin# to dodge and find what your looking for....not quite sure though....

 

if it doesnt have a plaque then chances are...its a fake...goto a dodge dealer and run the VIN...also...check out this site...as its dedicated to limited edition trucks...hopefully like the one you are about to purchase...

by the way...if it is a real daytona...you can have a dash plaque made...for around 20-30 bucks....reason i know is...a guy on the rumblebee forum had his bee stolen...and they cracked the plaque...
