Just bought my first Dodge Ram Truck! And I love it! However I have starting having an issue when starting the truck cold. It shakes to high heaven when it idles and drives at slow speeds. I have no troubles at high speeds, I hear this sound that sounds like the lifters on my old Ford, kind of ticking. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the problem?

 

That just happened on my '03 4.7. It's in the shop getting a new motor . the valves had collapsed on cylinders 1 & 2 and also it threw a rocker arm on cylinder 1. They "fixed" it, and then the next day it was even worse. So now I'm getting the new motor.
