It sure sounds like it is wired up wrong. Sounds like they got the wrong wires running through the smt6. Some of the pcm wire colors are really similar. They probably sent it back to IDA auto for a check and IDA said it was fine and you end up with it back.

Performance Injectors is a good shop. Every now and then we come across pcm's that just fight the smt6. If you can get me a data log, I'll see if anything stands out.

Sounds just what I went through in the beginning, and me a bud did the install, LOL!
It is REALLY, REALLY easy to get the color codes wrong at the pcm. We ironed out the wiring problems by buzzing out the actual connectors and not by the color codes of the wires. Ask you shop if they did that.

2 weeks later we get it back and now i have all kinds of problems from the ac compressor relay swith to the throtle? I guess my question is could the smt6 if it was bad cause all these problems with wiring? Or did the shop that is trying to do the install cause these problems by crossing some wires or something. I only know that I love my truck and wish that I would have left it alone. Any advise would be very much appreciated. O and the ecm is new so thats not the problem

sts turbo question
quick question so i have a 2003 ram 1500 just installed the sts turbo on the truck ran great then the throttle body started to send out codes and was trying to shut off my truck. I was wondering if anyone has a tune for this turbo kit I already have the diablo sport tuner.
