Has anyone gotten the tail light covers from the Dealer. I am talking about the thin ones that frame the light and have 2 thin bars that seperate the lights and can be painted to match the color of the truck.

 

I have the dealer covers, but why would you need to paint the the color of the truck? They come in the matching color you need. I'm pleased with mine. They've been on since I bought the truck in May 2003.

 

i have them stock from the dealer on mine, ii think theyre a nice touch... they are also the same color as the truck

 

Just called the dealer, he doesn't have them in Patriot Blue....wants $79 for the covers and another $40 to Paint them Patriot Blue.
Does anybody have a part # for these things ....I can't beleive they don't come in patriot blue...it's not like its a "custom" color.
What did you guys pay for yours??

Well guess what!!! the tail light guard/covers don't come in Patriot Blue!!!.....aaaagggghhh!!!!!
Guess its either buy them unpainted and get them painted or go the chrome route!
I was thinking about the polished billet gas door so I guess the chrome wouldn't be so bad....
I don't know I really like the look of the color matched sets I have seen on other Dodge's.

 

I ordered mine through Maurry's. They are the kind with the sticky glue on the back. One is just now starting to slightly peel off after almost 2 years. I thought about painting them white before I put them on but I left them black.
