Hi Guys, I am curious as to what the guys with the 5.9L are actually seeing in gains with the Superchip. I have seen alot of info on the Hemi, but that doesn't do me much good.

I have an '02 QC with the 5.9L. I love its power compared to my last truck, but of course you always want more. I have a superchip on the way, but I want to know what I can expect. What kind of mileage increases have you seen, and what about power. Is there a good noticiable difference?

I had a 5.9 in my 97 with the hypertech programmer. I couldn't run the performance tune but the regular tune made the truck a lot smoother and improved the MPG about 1.5. So I would guess you will see an improvement.

 

It was pretty much a wakeup call for my truck. Took the gas mileage from 11.2 to 13.7 & gave ita lotmore power. Now I've gotta resist the urge to whoop some chevy ***...can't lose the cdl
