anyone ever have this happen? just washed and waxed my truck and when i got into it to drive away my rt back seat window had spider cracks all through it. never seen anything like it. What could have happend? Any suggestions would be great. Do you think the dealership will replace it for it being a faulty window? thanks for your time

it could have been a problem from the supplier that tempured it...my grandpa's MB has had 3 different windshields cause they have all had spider cracks in it from not getting tempured correctly...might look into and try getting yourself some free glass

 

If you have a good dealer they will work with you. If you have a crappy one they will argue. Fact is glass can spontaneously explode. You could pursue it with the dealer. A glass fabrication company could go as far as to examine the break patternit to determine if it was glass failure or someone hitting it.
