I got my oil changed today at the dealership (only because the 1st one was free in a coupon i got in the mail) after it I was going down the interstate and looked at the mpg. At first it said 20 then 24 and finally 40.7 mpg.[sm=wtf.gif] I even took a picture with my phone.I have a 07 QC Hemi and I know it will not get 40 mpg going downhill in nuetral with a hurricane pushing it. Just curious if any other person had this type of error.

 

It will probably settle down by itself. When I installed my O/H console with HomeLink, it took a day or so to lose the previous truck's temp and mileage readings. Being impatient, I also recalibrated the compass. It would probably have set itself. After that, no issues.
