Default question on radio interfearence

I have a 03 short bed, 2WD, single cab with a hemi in it and i have some subs and i have horrible RFI (whining coming through the subs) when i speed up! Any ideas about where to ground out the radio and amps? I currently have them running to the frame itself and that kinda quieted them down alittle but not much! am i overlooking something else in the electrical system? Thanks

what gauge wire are you using for power and ground? It certainly sounds like a bad ground.

Default RE: question on radio interfearence

You might get some ideas for eliminating radio interference at this TSB page of Dave Fritz's:

http://dodgeram.info/tsb/group_08.htm

there was a specific TSB for 2nd Gen Rams on RFI

http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1999/08-32-99.htm

but I have not read one on 3rd Gen Rams

the Amateur Radio Relay League has helpfully put together a collection of RFI reduction tips, many of which deal with vehicle rfi:

Good luck.
