Is it possible to take apart the vanity light and mirror assembly from the visor on an 2005 2500? I don't really want to buy a new one if I don't have to. Thanks.

 

Yes and no. If you plan on not using the vanity light/mirror assembly then you can RIP it apart and have it recovered with what ever you want. If you are looking to repair it, then no because it is all glued together. Attempting to tear it apart and repair will break the components even worse. This is why if it ever breaks, the dealer just replaced the whole visor assembly.

 

yea maybe you can try ebay a junk yard or the dodge classifieds to get one cheap... i know some people are sellin them bc they put tv's up ther!
