Has anyone out there had to take off their 4.7L valve covers. If so ow hard was it and how long did it take. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

why u takin VC's off??? it's not hard, just remove the coils, and the bolts and thats that....havent looked at one in quite awhile so might have missed a few things lol

 

I think HemiYellow is about right, there might be a clip or two but it's pretty straight forward. I helped a friend take his off so he could buff / polish them. It worked out okay, but even after he spent hours working on them they still looked like shined up stockers...as soon as an aftermarket set appeared his "hand polished" set ended up in his spare parts pile
