not too sure about it. my guess would be that you could modify a factory one without any problems. im starting to look around myself for different things but i'm not finding all the answers i need. i would not mod my dash too much (its invites theft) and (to me) the factory setup is pretty clean looking. i have factory nav with the steering wheel controls so im building my system around what is already there.

Are you needing a 2005 NAV bezel so that you can install the NAV, or do you have a non NAV bezel and want to install the NAV? Have you checked Ebay, or even the dealer? I just swapped out a non NAV readio in a 2008 megacab and had the dealer install a new bezel, and NAC REC unit. The bezel returns back a little around the radio, if you trim this off, you'll be left with a thin edge that better snug up perfect around what ever radio you get. I'd check ebay or dealer- not to mod!!!

I know for the Durango there is an aftermarket double din kit that fits with the Mopar Nav bezel. Very easy way to install a double din aftermarket headunit into the Durango. I don't know if such a kit is available for the Ram but I would tend to think they are almost the same.

I installed the REC Nav unit with Mopar Nav bezel in my Ram. Quick easy installation.

or you can go with an aftermarket dvd/nav unit that has the motorized touch screen. It would fit with the regular bezel.
