Got tired of driving the little Hyundai around as my daily driver. I was finding myself using huge, lifted Hemi 4x4 to go back & forth to work, errands, etc. So I decided to stop that crap. I've owned three Jeep Grand Cherokees (the ex gotmy last one, an '02 Laredo Sport 4x4 w/ 4.0 I6) and two Wranglers before and set out to find a 2WD 4.0L Grand Cherokee (trying to keep some semblance of decent gas mileage).

Ended up finding what I thought was a steal on an '02 Grand Cherokee Overland, 4x4, High Output 4.7L. KBB has it at $16,900 retail, I paid $11,250 and got $3000 for the little Accent in trade to net out at $8250! Immaculate shape, 61,000 miles on it.

Anybody know of any good Jeep forums, I am on ten forums now between the Hemi and ATV forums, might just as well join a couple Jeep ones.

I know this ain't a 3rd Gen Topic, but I did mention my truck, and kinda didn't know where to stick it as it is more 4.7L V8 related than anything.

 

for good 4.7 info go to the dak section. most of us with the gen 3 have the 4.7 and really like it. some of us have even moded out the 4.7 to get the same or even more power then the hemis
