I'll second that, had BFG's on my 06 QC, no leveling kit, 315/70/R17's fit just fine

 

I have 35s (325) on my 2002 ram sport crew cab they only rub at full crank to the left I have my torsions cranked 1.5 turns more than stock.

 

well i couldnt imagine ya'll haven much flex off road... plus full lock would prolly rub... not saying its not possible... just i havent heard of that before... i wouldn't think of it as being too practical....

 

moparrob, is the leveling kit a polyurethene bushing or is it a spring set?

 

i haven't noticed rub marks anywhere around the tire, but the back of the spindle where the steering stops shows some wear but not due to the wheels.

 

i cleared 33's stock w/ no prob. but i have the Fabtech leveling kit. and i am thinking about throwing some 35's on it.

Has anyone tried the toyo open country A/T tires LT285/75R17? They are taller 33.8 inches but don't have the extra width. I am thinking about them for next year after a body lift.

 

i've never heard anything bad about them, but then again i don't know anyone with them. they are prolly better then your stock ones.

 

Neither what I got was new torsion bar keys. My truck's front has a torsion bar front suspension as did all of the 1500 4X4 02-05. The 06's and up and the 2X4 have the spring suspension. So my type of leveling kit will not work with your pickup. I would recommend if you just want to level it go get the coil spacers, pretty cheap and nothing permanent.
