well yea i heard both sides of the led's.... i heard they definitely do light up faster due to the low energy draw... but i heard they are no brighter... anywho... if you dont like them in clear... buy them and then smoke them.. i smoked my stock ones just because im on a budget at the moment...... its real easy just get a can of VHT nightshades... you can get clear coat too if you want.... it will look prety nice!

Interesting bro': I put exactly the same set on my silver '03. They fit better than OEM and look sharp (IMO)

Oops - I accidentally linked to the wrong auction. Mine are actually *clear* LED tails from the same company, not smoked.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-03...spagenameZWDVW

They look pretty similar but I didn't want anyone to think the smoked ones were that clear. I'll try to get a night shot soon if my camera cooperates. The ebay auction does show the LED pattern. I'm sure many people assume they're stock lights which is what I wanted.

What is the going price on the Carbon LED's? I don't really care about the Carbon Fiber, I just like the blacked out look

RI is a stickler for the laws as far as tint, lift, tire width etc. I can only imagine that they are the same way for tailights, fog lights, spot lights etc. I would love to get a set of those color changing fog lights (someone on here has them, think they are called Halo's), but I don't believe they wuld go over well here.
