Does anyone know what oil the factory uses in a 2007 year 4.7 liter Ram 1500?

It's 5-20 but the brand or Mopar brand equivalent is what I'm after.

not too sure what the factory uses... good question though.... i know most people use and reccomend synthetic though if your looking to do an oil change...

 

I don't know if this means anything but, Daimlyer/ Chrysler were the same company..And i know Mercedes Benz uses Mobil 1 from the factory..

 

Factory uses all MOPAR lubricants. Just like your dealer, I use Mobil 1 Truck/SUV Synthetic with the Lucas Oil Additive. The only place I've been able to find that particular Mobil product is at Wal-Mart, I get the Lucas from Advance. I like the results Lucas keeps the oil stable if you miss the change.

 

So that's where all the Mopar oil rigs in Wyoming send their oil...
