Default Remote turn on wire

I have a 2003 ram with upgraded infinity sound and I am adding a sub and amp with a line level converter. I was wondering where/what colorwireyou guys spliced in for the remote turn on wire (so my aftermarket amp turns on when the stereo turns on). I think it is pink, but I tried2 pink wires down by the drivers side kick panal and no luck.

Thanks

Blue with a white stripe is what I've seen in several applications.

the blue/white is aftermarket. Some powered subs have an auto turn on by sensing the signal from the speaker wires. could try that

I tapped into the pink wire with a yellow stripe coming out of the cigarette lighter. It turns on and off with the ignition, not the radio, but i just about always have the radio on anyways.

just trace into the fuse panel and find something that only has power with the key on and tap into that.

your factory amp will be behind the glove compartment.... you could always go by the process of elimination. the remote wire (if there is one) wont be coming out of the other side of the amp so that should narrow it down. Or you could check out an aftermarket wiring harness and see where the blue ad white wire pugs into

Ditto, was the closest and easiest for me.

did the amp then turn on and off like normal. I've got an 07 dodge 1500. Put in an aftermarket radio but doesn't have amp wire
