I have a 2002dodge ram sport qc with the shorter bed (5.5 ft I think). This truck has a 3 inch body lift on it also. I am looking for some gap gaurds to cover up the inner fender but can't find any place that sells them any help with that would be great. Also looking for bed rail caps (black plastic or metal) butI cant find any for the shorter 5.5 ft bed that comes on the sport trucks any help finding those would be great too. Also need a tail gate one. And if anyone knows of a good condition red rear bumper for my truck too.

Also a superchip for my truck with the 5.9 gas job.

 

I think your bed is 6.5 ft long. My 06 qc is 6.5 ft, I think the long beds are 8.0 ft and the short are 6.5 ft. You can find bed rails everywhere for the 6.5 ft beds, I got mine from JC Whitney for $109.99.

 

No mine is definitly shorter than a regular bed my neighbors truck is a 2003 quad cab non sport and his bed is longer than mine by around a foot but it is by no means a long bed.

 

i really dont think they made a 5.5 bed.... i am almost positive you have the 6.5... measure it.. or post a pic.... you can get the bed rails in a lot of places like tsc.... jc whitney.... summit.... stylin trucks.... gap gaurds for stock are available at a dealer with the lift try 4wheelparts.com the superchips you can find just about any performance shop

 

As for the gap guards, click on the factory Dodge accessories link to the right, I ordered mine through them. Cost like 90 bucks with shipping I think, easy to install and make the wheel gap look much cleaner. Highly recommended!

 

Very sorry it is a 6.5 ft bed I don't know why my bed looks shorter than all the other dodges I see though maybe the 35s and 3 in body lift have something to do with it.

I do also need a tonneau cover anyone got a extang rt for sale? I need velcro for the cold weather the snaps are junks when it gets cold. I want to buy used but if it cant find one soon ill just buy used. Where can I get one for about $275ish I know someone out there has deals like that for them.

 

Actually its 6 foot 3 inches but is just referred to as 6 1/2 foot... Check ebay for gap guards. I have dee zee bed rails and i love them. The diamond plate looks great on my black truck. For a tonneau, nothing beats access. They by far have the best roll up tonneau on the market....
