Default CAI FOR 07 HEMI

Quick question....will an intake for an 03 04 05 hemi 5.7l fit an 07 hemi? Are there any changes to the tbthat would cause the unit to notfit? I found a knock offbrute force intake for the 03-05 and was curious if i could get away with it on my 07.

i dont think it will fit.... as far as the aftermarket intakes go they specify two different intakes.. not sure what the difference is... what do you mean you found one? just laying around the house? or one for sale? i would test fit it if my friend had one just sittin around but i wouldnt spend the money...

Thanks anyway...I see all these different years of hemi....most aftermarket has everything up to 06 and stops...im so hesitant to purchase anything without understanding what the differences are in the engines.

I would contact the manufacturer and ask them. I had an 05 and traded it in and left my K&N CAI installed on the truck because I didnt think it would work on my 07. But after I ordered the new one it came with the same part number as the old one. So the K&N one will work on 03-07 not sure about the one your talking about.

basically the link you posted isnt for a true CAI. The one you listed still uses the stock resonator box and a true CAI will eliminate this. If you opened up the resonator box it has channels to direct the flow of air. Really the only thing you would be buying off of ebay here is a high flow airfilter and some metal tubing. Which in my opinion heats up faster than a plastic tube. Unless your going for looks I would stay away from the metal tube and go with plastic.
