11kis about right...and they threw in the towing package free. Over the rail hides any dents and scratches, but so does a cap. Good luck.

Good price. I got my mega cab for $22k with a $2500 trade. If you are going to go with a hard toneauo then you can get an over the rail liner, but if you re going to go with a camper high top, then you will need an under the rail so that the mounting brackets won't slide. As far as which brand, it doesn't really matter. It all depends on what you want options on the cap. If you are going with the high top or cab level top and you have the sliding glass on your rear window, you might want to get that on the cap so you can open both at the same time and have an opening from the cab to the cap. Also another thing to look into is lighting. I got a light with a switch on mine so if I am looking for something at night, I can flip a switch and see better. You can also get it insulated if you want, I however did not do that as I will not be using mine for actual camping, mine is for storing parts and equipment. and last thing is windows on the side. I went with the manual sliding windows on the side so if I can air out the back if needed or if someone is riding back there, they can open a window to get air. The windows also have screens. I hope this helps.

Sounds like a good price but at this time of the year, you should still be able to negotiate a bit more. Hemiman4ever has an excellent overview. Invoice cost is not the true cost of the vehicle. Dealer cost is less. Along with the rebate, if you are financing any part of your purchase, ask for a low rate, say 2-3%, 0% if you have stellar credit. They'll give it to you. Advertising says rebate or financing, not both, but the dealers want to sell you a truck. At the end of the sales month, it's the volume of vehicles sold, not what they made dollar wise, that matters more to the dealership to get the juicy factory to dealer incentives. Hec, even have them throw in floor mats!

In either case, good luck. $11k sounds about right over here too.
