Default Bull Bar Question?

I have an '05 SLT and was wondering if anyone else had a Bull Bar on their SLT? I kept looking at the pics of them on Ebay and all the trucks that I see have a chrome metal bumper. Mine is plastic and has an extra air dam at the bottom. It doesn't look like I can attach it correctly. Thanks for the help.

You can attach it normally, but you may have to cut into your air dam. Either way, the bull bar wil fit. It's just a matter of what you wanna do to make it fit.

I dont think its only the SLT that had the painted front bumper, I have an SLT although an 03, and my front bumper is the chrome type. I always thought that the painted bumpers and grills were the "Sport" models. And yeah have been looking to get the front bull/push bar and on some site I was able to download installation instructions telling you to cut that lower airdam. If I can find them I will PM them to ya.

Bumper material doesnt matter. You either dremel out two circles for the bull bar in the air dam, or take it off. I reccomed cutting but just my .02

If you get a bull bar that uses mounts that go under the bumper, you will have to cut the dam to get it to mount. There are also bull bars that are available that mount straight through the lower grill opening as mine does. Check out my gallery and I have a good side pic of this. I still had to cut the lower plastic grill insert to get it back in as I did not want a huge opening after the bar was in palce. I just used a dremel to cut to size.

What is the brand name of the bar that you have? Thanks

Westin E series. It was the cheapest one they have, and also doesn't have WESTIN printed huge on the underside or has those huge black weld covers on the joints.
