im about to do a system in my 07 quad.. you really just need to research your different box types and the overall airspace inside them and order your subs accordingly...i checked on how much space a reg carpeted dual box contained and got a pair of kicker comp 10's and a 400.1 mono amp.it should bang out pretty good. it just really depends on what kind of sound you want...

I bought (2) Kicker CVR 10's (800w max output each)....if you're not in a hurry watch their website they run a 2 for the price of 1 deal every 4-5 months. I also bought a dual 10 vented subwoofer box off of ebay.....the dude's website is www.foxacoustics.com I believe he makes these in fully enclosed now...for both 10's and 12's.

Anyways I'm running the two 10's with a kicker zx750.1 amp (also off ebay for about $250...vs $500@ circuit city).

The system sounds pretty sweet and the box fits perfect (comes with 3/4" spacers and new rear seat bolts...this raises your rear seat 3/4 of an inch.....damn them bolts were tight).

Anyways, hope that helped.

Most of the shallow subs dont sound all that great. However If you hold out till just after the new year JL Audio has their 12" and 13" TW5 coming out and they are only 2.5" deep, and they say they are a great sounding sub.
