EVS 1 and cold weather
I had an EVS 1 alarm system installed three weeks ago as my 07 1500 was being repaired after an attempt to steal it. The alarm has work reliably with only a couple false alarms that I caused.
Overnight was our first cool weather, which dropped into the 40's. This morning the alarm has made several random single honk warnings.
The alarm is set on medium sensitivity, I really don't want to make it even less sensative since you have to knock it pretty hard now to get a response.
Does anyone have experience with cold weather affecting an EVS, perhaps one specific sensor point?

Those random beeps weren'ta warning that it had some point overnight been triggered right? On my old cars alarm it would only beep twice when unlocking the doors and disarming the alarm. But it would give 4 beeps when the alarm had been triggered.
MoparRob,
They were too far apart for that, and I had not deactivated the system yet (which is when I get a signal that the alarm had reset).
Only change was the weather.
