I have an 05 ramj with 20 inch chrome clad rims. I live in ontario and they put lots of salt on the roads in the winter witch destroys the outter edge of the rims. I just had them redone this july, and I would like to keep them looking new. I wanted to know if any of you guys put anything on these rims to protect them form the winter elements?

I feel your pain. Even though I have the plastic chrome covers on my truck my Harley is showing signs of oxidation on various chrome parts. I have done some research and I think I’m going to try this stuff:

hmm... that seems like a good product... also another idea is you could buy some cheapo rims and tires for the winter..... your call though!

 

i have an 05 ram wit the 20s's and, live in ontario 2,wat ive found that works well is i buy some clearcoat paint from canadian tire and spray some on it works ok and normall lasts the winter months
