My tranny fluid was just changed and it hasn't been running right every since. When i check the fluid when the vehicle is warmed up and in nutrual. The fluid reads full, but it is very thin and has numours bubbles in it. Like its been shaken up. Is this normal? ATF+4 was putting in.
I changed it. 04 hemi QC.After its warmed up. At running temp. I place the truck in nutrual. And pull the stick out once. whip it off and replace it in the stick. Thne pull it back out and check it, holding it level. It reads full, but the fluid looks very thin, and there's alot of bubbles in it.
What kind of work did you do? Filter change? Pan drop or full system flush? That flat pan filter is tricky to get in right, even the slightest bit cocked and it will give you problems.
Thats what im suspecting. I plan to rip it back off next week and make sure it didn't slip down or anything. The pan off, and a new gastket and both filters were changed.
