Holy crap, no longer will I bitch about my life being complicated!

 

Im from around the rochester area.... you wont get too cold.... its still lingering around the 40's here when i was up in northern minnesota it was down to about 15 degrees though...

 

15 degrees, huh? I remember when I was in my late teen's & early 20's, in early-mid '80s, going ice fishing in upstate NY every chance I got. It would always be anywhere from below zero to the upper teen's. Wind chill from hell out on that open ice. I was comfortable in thermal underwear, jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and maybe a flannel shirt.
After 14 years in Ga. and a couple in Fl., I now won't play golf if it's under 50!!!

 

I grew up in Duluth, but graduated High School from Austin, just down the road from Rochester... I now am stationed in Montana. sure do miss good ole MN though.

 

My father is from Austin, i hate that city. Rochester isnt horrible, i love duluth tho. I hunt not far from duluth

Welcome Back! I know how you feel, just got married and man was that crap stressful..(the organizing part) I lived in MN years back...In Moorhead. It was probably the best 4 years of my childhood...Man is it pretty there. I miss it.I remember hunting on a guys property with my dad and the home owner runing out yelling and screaming for us to get out of there and into the truck. There was a Cow Moose and her Calf out in our area and she was pissed..It was neat seening a wild moose up close. You dont get anything like that here in IN. Well, welcome back again.

 

Yeah, i saw a moose during hunting season this year... them bastards are mean in rut!!!

 

Yea, I originally went to college for wildlife biology. Was young and fool enough to think I could hunt & fish my whole life and get paid for it. Anyway, I worked one summer, while in school in upstate NY, in Baxter State Park in Maine. Came across a female moose with a calf after I slipped the canoe onto the bank of one of the tributaries of the Penobscot River. Got my **** back in that canoe and out in the river pretty darn fast!!!
