Default Just wondering

I Bought a 2005 Ram 1500 , Hemi , Headers andDualFlow master system. I know I have a one legger set up cause I've seen the single patch. My question is,how can I tell if the original owner installed a program for the computer? Also would I see any improvment if I install a Detroit Tru Trac or would it affect my 4x4 set up. Just trying to learn. I love this truck. Pics coming when the weather breaks.

Dealer can tell you if the PCM is stock or not. A good many service techs on here say they have a way to tell if an aftermarket tune was ever installed, but my local service mgr. says that's bullsh_t, that they can only tell the date it was last flashed, they have NO way of knowing what it was before the current flash.

An aftermarket LSD is always a good investment, whether a Eaton/Detroit TruTrac or an Auburn Gear LSD.
