Lift Kit
I want to get this thing up in the air. Keep in mind it's 2WD.I have been browsing the web and there's a ton of information out there so I figured it would be easier to listen to what you guys had to say. As of right now I am looking at the Fabtech 6 inch suspension kit, BFGoodrich 315x70R17, and the Diamo DI 17 karat-chrome rims. I don't have the skills or the tools to do this myself so I am at the shop's mercy for prices. I called 4 Wheel Parts today because I live like an hour from Charlotte and they will install it for me. They said my walk out price with tax and allignment would be $4316.54. Is this a reasonable price for the stuff I am looking at? And one last question, should I also put a 3 inch body lift on there to give it just a little bit higher look or is that too much?
no need for the body lift... never was a fan of them... 4wheelparts normally has good prices check their site add it all up then you can see what they are charging for the install...
Exactly how high do you want to jack up ur truck because at 6", you have a lot more ground clearance, but probably wont fit in any parking structures etc. I have a 3" lift going on my truck in a few days and I think that should be sufficient enough.
i wanna be able to look well above the 35's. I dont like ridin near my tires. I was just curious since rumor on the fabtech 6" is that it'snot 6", maybe I should do a body lift to get that extra boost???? I am not a big fan of body lifts though, that's the only thing?
The Body lift looks good ~ I am getting a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit in the front and a inch in the rear of mine next week, mine is a 2 wheel drive as well , and its going to give the same look as the body, I've seen both. Unless you just got money to burn, get the 6 inch.
