what do you all think
Hey all,
I was just wondering how many of you out there have an 07 ram quad cab with the 4.7L engine and a manual tranny and what you think of it. I have an 05 dakota with the 4.7 and a manual tranny, but I'm considering trading it in for the ram with the 4.7 and manual tranny.

the 4.7 is not a bad motor, but if you are looking for performance, it is a little underpowered fr the qc from the factory. you can fix that though. if you just want a daily driver, and not really interested in awesome performance, its a really good choice.

4 years ago I tried the 4.7 ram and was very dissapointed with the performance especially when climbing a hill. I Do have a lot of those in my neck of the woods. The one I tried was an auto so the man. should be better.
