I wonder if he had training in that. That was a perfectly executed J-turn.

And yes, if you regain traction at the wrong point in your spin, you've got a good chance of rolling it.

I've done that twice on dry pavement (with my almost bald gy tires) and more times than I can count on icy surfaces in my truck. And yes, it's freaky doing it on pavement. There's a lot, and I do mean a lot, of body roll on a 4x4. That looks like a 2wd though. I definitely wouldn't try it on pavement now that I've got my new tires on.
