IMO I dont know if thecost of the turbo kit would really be worth it to only gain 50-60hp. I would bet you could easily get the stock internals to handle 6-7 psi(some one correct me if this is not right). If you only wanted 50-60 extra horses you could just get a nitrous kit, alot cheaper...

Forget the nitrous, if he only wants 50-60 HP then a good cam and dull bolt ons is what he should do.

Uh, Rob, I make 450hp at the rear tires with the sts on a stock motor, where did this 60hp stuff come from?

I am certain that a 4.7 3 will make much more than 60hp.

ORIGINAL: Nicky B

Do you know whats the lowest number of psi who can run with the sts turbo for the hemi? I was thinking without any real problems I could run maybe 3-4psi for a 50-60HP boost that shouldn't cause any real internalproblems.

I was responding to Nicky Bs comment about how he could run 3-4spi for a 50-60hp increase. I was more commenting on that if he just wanted 50-60hp that the money to invest into a turbo kit would not be worth it at all. Not thatit would be the limitations of a turbo.....
