sensor on intake

Default sensor on intake

i have a '04 4.7L and on the air box going into the throttle body there's a sensor that snaps in the back side. is this an air flow sensor or what? or can i do away with it? unplug or what? help

It sounds like your air temp sensor - I would leave that in place.

Yea like chongo said...sounds like your IAT sensor. All of the sensors are there for a reason...I wouldn't go around removing them.
