Default Aftermarket Radio Question

I am getting a new radio for xmas, and my truck has the 7 speaker (non-Infinity) stock sound system in it. Since the radio only has front and rear outputs on it, how are you guys hooking up all 7 speakers? I don't want to cut the ohms down and either have distorted sound or blow the speakers. Any help would greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Aftermarket Radio Question

you have 7 speakers, but you want hurt anything with a aftermarket radio because the 2 speakers in the dash are only tweeters and the 2 in the front doors are only mids and they are wired together so the front 4 speakers are really ony 2. does that make any sence? and the 7th speaker is a factory sub and it has its own power supply. I hope this could help

Yep, I understand what you are saying other than the sub part. I don't have a sub in my truck. There are 3 speakers in the dash. One on each outside and one in the middle. Then there are one in each door.
