Default Tans temp Gauge install

Any of you guys install a trans temp gauge on your rig? I want to install one but I can't seem to find any info on how to get one on these trucks.

Just get the gauge/sender and then I used this manifold from Summit to splice into the pressure line.

Nice setup, Helo.

I have the single gauge pillar sitting in the garage, in the box still. I optedfor the single so I'd still have the grab handle. Instead of goingto the tranny though, I'm thinking of getting the Magtec rear diff cover and plugging in there to monitor rear diff oil temp. SinceI sold my bass boat I don't tow much anymore...

I bought a DiPricol trans temp gauge that came with the sender. Di Pricol matches the std gauges (white background/red needle/green lighting/black numbers) I also bought the a pillar plastic that is for the SRT-10. The dealer installed it all, including tapping the pan. I wanted the pan temp as this is an average. The trans draws its fluid from the pan which comes back from the cooler.

In the summer towing I usually hit 180-185 on the highway going up through the Wisconsin Dells with a speedboat on a 26' double axle trailer. Without trailer around town usually 100-120. In the winter (no trailer/around town)I hit 100 after a fair amount of driving.
